As the Marketing Coordinator for a golf resort, I developed: eblasts, print, online, etc., even rebranded a monthly newsletter that went out to local residents. Also sharpened my negotiating skills working with third-party vendors to promote: Stay-and-Play packages, banquets, golf schools and other specials, which also included St. Mark Executive Golf Course. But my tasks didn’t stop there. It was a challenge and a lot of fun to procure branded merchandise, on- and off-course signage, even yardage markers. Whatever needed to be done, I relished it with mustard, onions and jalapenos.
Developing a brand voice, scheduling eblasts, managing multiple social media accounts and booking tee times were just a few of the things I accomplished. Working closely with hoteliers, managers and other executives, we achieved numerous accolades including “TripAdvisor’s Top 20 places to stay in the United States.” Together we rebranded the resort, built up revenue by expanding the membership, and turned it around from bankruptcy into a thriving semi-private golf resort. Below are a few promotional initiatives and ads we developed.
